Sometime OPMN process status can show as STOP as shown below.
The issue was occurring because OPMN state folder still had old
process state and ID for OPMN process Cluster Controller due to abnormal stop
OBIEE services or OS itself which leaves the old process/lock files, hence was
failing to start the process and moving it to Stop state.
Solution:
1. Stop OPMN.
2. Rename State
folder in $ORACLE_BI/instances/instance1/config/OPMN/opmn location.
3. Start OPMN.
Now it should work
fine.
Enjoy and Stay
Well !! :)
